TRANS-VOL is a subsidised voluntary social car scheme that utilises volunteer drivers and their cars to meet the transport needs of people who live in Thurrock;
The mini-bus service is open to membership from people who use a wheelchair or who are unable to use conventional transport because of a disability.

THURROCK CVS TRANS-VOL is a subsidised voluntary social car scheme that utilises volunteer drivers and their cars to meet the transport needs of people who live in Thurrock.

Membership is open to people who have restricted mobility
OR to any person who is 80 years or over.

TRANS-VOL can be used for:

shopping
visiting friends
club/church activities
learning opportunities
social outings
hospital visiting
Sorry - the service cannot be used for meeting hospital appointments

CVS MINI-BUS SERVICE

The CVS mini-bus service is open to membership from people who use a wheelchair or who are unable to use conventional transport because of a disability.

The mini-buses are available for trips within, and up to 10 miles outside the Borough of Thurrock. They have a tail-lift and our drivers have received full training in minibus driving and passenger care.
