About
TOFF Thurrock Over Fifties Forum
(TOFF) is an umbrella group which aims to represent the needs and
interests of older people throughout Thurrock. Meetings are held on
the second monday of the month at the "Beehive", West Street,
Grays. All are welcome. All meetings end with a ploughman's lunch. TOFF aims to work with planners to provide more relevant services for older people. To date this has included consultation on housing issues, falls prevention, and health provision among others. |
| Future
Plans
TOFF is looking to the future by being involved in the development of Thurrock's Independence Strategy for People as they grow older. Older people are actively working in partnership on focus groups addressing computer training and older people, access to information and maximising income through entitlement uptake. |
