Hillcroft College - New Prospectus for Women's College

Hillcroft is unique in being the only college for women within the adult residential sector in the UK. It was founded over 80 years ago to help women who have not previously had an opportunity to fulfil their potential through education. The college is open to women aged 19 or over. There are no entrance qualifications and grants are available to cover tuition and accommodation costs for the majority of students. Hillcroft's goal is to provide flexible learning opportunities in a supportive residential environment and to deliver new expertise and qualifications.

Students can attend the college on a full-time or part time basis and the curriculum delivers a wide range of academic, professional and personal development training. There is a Crèche and a dedicated Learning Resource Centre. The residential offer enables learners to get the best out of the resources of the college and the considerable experience of the staff.

Women in London

a directory of london based women's groups and news of their work and activities

WIN main objective continues to be to make use of new technology (ICT) to enable women to network and share information about the work of women's groups, whether funded to provide services, engaged in campaigning and action, providing mutual support, discussing and expanding feminist politics.

We are only too aware that many women have little time left after commitments at home and at work to search out information about women's issues, so our hope is that the Women in London website and the e-updates provide an easily accessible source - as well as being a public affirmation that women continue to work together to challenge our status in society.
