Thurrock Church Brasses

Randal Bingley was the curator of Thurrock's museum for many years. His publications on the Thurrock area include Fobbing: Life and Landscape, The Diary of Martha Randall of Orsett, 1858 - 61 and his most recent publication - Behold the Painful Plough: Country Life in West Tilbury, Essex 1700 - 1850. He has provided numerous contributions to other publications such as Farmer's Weekly, Country Life, Essex Countryside and Essex Journal.

During his long association with the Thurrock Local History Society, Randal has been a member and is now a patron of the society. He has edited and also provided (and continues to provide) many contributions to Panorama (our journal) . Here is a list of his articles.
